Dr. Surles is heard frequently on State and Regional radio broadcasts; he has written two books Journey on the Kingdom Road and Transforming Prayer. He writes and speaks from real life.  Dr. Surles served as a Rocky Mountain Guide and Outfitter; an award winning Director of Arkansas State Parks, and a leader in the National Park Service, holding positions of Assistant Superintendent of Yellowstone National Park, Chief of Concessions Management in Washington, D. C., and Associate Regional Director of the Rocky Mountain Region. He also owned and operated his own resort management, consulting and training organization.

Currently Bud provides services for corporations, public agencies, and individuals in consulting for land development, site consultations, and leading seminars both in the Resort and RV industries and for Christian ministry.
